My good friend Mark died today, he was very special, he was very much like Dustin Hoffman's Rainman character, and he was very special to me.

On Monday we all had heard of the terrible accident by downtown near where I work, pedestrian hit by car in a horrible manner, as the day grew later we were sure it was no one we worked with in our building cuz we would have heard....we were relieved.

Sadly today they came to tell me it was my dear friend Mark. To describe Mark is too complicated but I will share this.

On Friday he came to my office to see me, he made me a boondoggle (which he made me pay for $$$) lol!! He asked me if he was a good boy "Yes Mark you are a good boy" he was a beautiful boy.

I will miss him, I first met him skipping school at the mall downtown in 1981! Then I saw him almost every time I went downtown, then when I worked for the Feds he came in one day, his father worked with me!

Well I've worked downtown for over 15 years now and he has been a constant in my life. Many people at my bldg. thought him a vagrant off his meds, I taught them all a lesson (you know how I am)...gratefully, many people came to KNOW Mark, and care about Mark, and today I saw grown men cry for Mark...he was a beautiful soul, that taught so many so much about life...

I'm so sad that he is gone and to die so tragically.

Please say a prayer for a beautiful soul that I'm sure has already found a special place in heaven...
