Thanks everyone for the prayers. They are needed! I tried posting a response earlier but I don't think it went through! Sorry if it double posts. My hopes are to do twelve days on metro then switch to tylan maybe long term so she has an anti inflammatory in her. I think cerenia every other day may help too. I've heard good things about people having dogs on cerenia for ibd. I think I'll try Prozac after her belly clears up. Just worried since one of the side effects is colitis. She's only two years old and weighs three pounds. If Prozac doesn't help I may need to consider rehoming her. I'm a stay at home puppy mom but have a pretty active lifestyle. At this point I don't even leave the house without her and we are unable to go on our honeymoon since I'm scared of what will happen to her while I'm gone. She eats her poop which then causes colitis. So someone needs to watch her 24/7. I just not sure what else to do at this point. |
