Maggie is very attached to her father. Before we moved to Texas, he lost his job in Nebraska and found a job in Texas. He was in Texas for 3 months while the rest of the family was in Nebraska selling the house and preparing to move. Maggie went into such a deep depression that she was a total mess. She was not at all like herself. She became very withdrawn, skittish, and would pee if at all startled. She didn't do any of the stuff she had done before. When we were reunited again, she was SO happy to be with her father again, but still has some minor issues that she never had before this happened. She will bite strangers and we have to be very careful with her when someone comes over. She even still tries to bite the neighbor kids that have been to our house 100s of times. Other than that, she is doing ok. These dogs get very attached to one person and sometimes it really affects them if something happens that separates them.
