congratulations first of all. It will get better, when I first brought Molly home Merlin was not happy at all he grumbled and was dismissive of her this last a full week maybe a little longer and this had me in tears several times thinking what have I done... well fast forward 2 years they recently had a litter together and we have 2 more babies ..... All is good. The only advice I would give in all areas give to Sparkle first be it food, love, time, toys ect this to me made sure for me that Merlin was and still is the great dog pre pack times lol...
