I have a 1 yr 3 month old named Luma and just a few days ago brought home a new puppy who is from the same parents but different litter. Rosie is 12 weeks. As I write this Luma is laying in the same ex pen but a different bed, next to Rosie. She walked in there on her own.

I haven't tried to force anything. I was nervous too bc Luma prefers humans and doesn't really know how to play with other dogs, but honestly they are doing great together. Just give it some time, don't force anything and let Sparkle have somewhere to escape to. (Rosie cant get on the bed or couch yet so Luma sometimes jumps up to get away for a bit.)

As for the sleeping thing I'm no help, just like you Luma was crate trained easily but we let her sleep in our bed anyways. Now we tried to crate train Rosie and she howls all night...and has slept with us the last 2 nights LOL.

Sparkle was an only child for over a year, so it may take some time. Sounds like you are doing things right so far. Give her lots of love and be patient! Let them work it out on their own. If she barks at Ruby its ok. If she bites her so hard that Ruby lets out a noise, that's different.

I hope to hear from you a few days from now and hopefully things will have progressed!! Good lick and dont lose hope! Oh and we love pictures here on YT...
