Would this work for a puppy. These are from the internet but I was thinking of getting that play pen, a plastic crate like the one shown, and instead of using that grass looking thing putting a puppy pad in a plastic container like the one shown.

If I leave the puppy in the playpen to sleep and leave the crate open is he likely to use the pee pad if I train him to. I don't mind him peeing on the floor in front of the crate because I could always clean it up but what do you guys think of this set up?

I would mainly take him to the balcony to do his business and this would be only for night time or if he is home alone.
I don't know how I missed this (probably was delayed since you are a new poster). This would work for night time and for when you are gone from the house. It has room for a food and water bowl and a couple of toys.
