She doesn't leave one crumb behind. This pup acts as if she is starving to death. I feed her three times a day 1/4 cup each time. She is on a low fat diet because of a bout with pancreatis in her past. The vet said that is plenty of food for her. She doesn't even get treats, just some of her dry food. She loves them and thinks she's getting a treat. She scarfs down her food so fast that I had to get her a special bowl at the pet store to slow her down. I wish she would hoard a few treats once in awhile.
