Yes, it does smell if it's not cleaned right away... so I clean their potty area which is in the bathrooms (downstairs & upstairs) 2-3 x's a day loll!
I keep the washables in a garbage bag & wash 4-6 pads every other day. I have 4 fur butts, so disposals will be too expensive for me & I don't like the idea of creating so much waste.
I only take them out once a day after their dinner, so they do use it during the day. We don't live in a very walkable area, the streets are messy & hilly, some streets don't even have an area to walk on. So I take them out in my car to a more walkable area or a near by park. Walking w/in the community here is a mess too, they end up w/black feet! IDk why...sigh I can't wait to move!
