 tether didnt work....UTI the culprit?
one question...2 year old yorkie...we're starting back to square one to try to get the belly band off of him and i have been using the tethering method...
however, it didnt quite work because he still caught me with my back almost turned and hiked his leg...i stopped him mid stream grabbed the nearest treat i could find LOL (a cheerio) and took him outside as fast as i could...where he continued to finish going and i gave him the cheerio...i know not the most reinforcing treat in the world but...still a treat!
i cleaned the mess up with soap and water then put vinegar over that but...
is it normal for a dog to be tethered to a person and still just go pee? or is it possible that his UTI could be the culprit? he had drank a ton of water after i got home from work and it did happen about 30 mins after which i just now realize i got sidetracked and after having a large drink i should've let him out to potty............it's a MILD uti....or so says the vet...but still probably bothering him. |
