Well..not knowing the situation reporting the lady might be overreacting. She might have just gone out to get her mail and left the door open one split second and they got lose..we ALL know this happens even to the best of us!! Thank God nothing happened and I can't imagine your fear...I would have pee'd my pants..lol. People who let their dogs run loose in neighborhoods are LAZY!! They are too lazy to take their dogs for walks or to take their dogs out on leash to do their business....it's something that should NOT be tolertated. It doesn't have to be big dogs either. There's a boston terrier in my neighborhood who comes after me and my dog, who's on leash, quite often. Once i even had to kick it hard to get it away from my baby (bichon/poodle mix). I'm not talking sniffing or playing, I'm talking teeth gnarled trying to bite. I've called the owners about it every time it happens and they act so shocked and suprised and swear they will keep it on leash from now on!! YEAH RIGHT!! Last call i said i will call police everytime it happens from now on...and guess what...it hasn't happened again..*crossing fingers* Anyway i guess the point is thank god nothing happened and this isn't a neighborhood you live in and have to deal with these dogs everyday. I'd just let it go and say a little THANK YOU prayer to the heavens above.
