Since Oakley is vomiting up his heartworm medicine and has the last three months, he had a visit with the vet this morning. The vet checked him out along with the stool sample and got a clean bill of health. The vet gave him a trial of Heartgard (that is one we had a problem with along with 1 month dose of Iverhart) and suggested we give him 1/3 of the pill day one, a 1/3 the second and so on. He said to mix it with his dry food and a little wet food. I've got my fingers crossed Oakley will be able to handle it.
I was anxious to get his weight and am happy to report he's now 4.7 lbs (he'll be 5 mos. on the 18th).
