I think if she had Maltese or Shih Tzu in her that her coat would grow longer. The ears stand up so well that it seems she would have to have parents with upright ears. My second guess would be a long haired Chi.

When someone sees her and really falls in love with her they are not going to care what she is mixed with.
you are so right they will not care...I feel the same way

I was thinking to myself I can't believe she is still available she is so cute. I think the website said she was 10 lbs and I was surprised since she looked smaller to me than that. Do they have her weight correct. Oh I hope she goes to great family, but until then you get to enjoy her.
Lol thats funny. Im a bit surpirsed how fast she is getting around.
The weight is not correct she was close to 13 lbs last time I weighed her and she may be bigger now because that was around 10 months old. She is very solid and stout so she looks to weigh less. However she must photo smaller..I did have one applicant that I told at least 5 times on the phone that she was 13+ lbs and she said she was fine with it...she met Lulu and said I didnt know she was so big
Anyway she does get a ton of applicants actually more than any foster Ive ever had. I have a couple things Im not budging on which is a playful doggie sibling, a yard and someone near southern ca. because she cant fly. I dont know if you read her bio but something happened to her before I got her that made her very afraid of people. I have alot of dogs afraid of people but Lulu is different because she isnt skittish or nervous. She is just fast so when you reach towards her she darts away. She is very difficult to touch or catch. Most dogs that are scared of people are submissive so you feel bad for them...Lulu appears to people that dont know her as kinda snobby because she kinda likes to perform and show off when people come over she plays with all her toys and brings them over to drop near you. She sits in front of people and tilts her head side to side in a curious sweet way, but she will not let you touch her and she has a strong presence about her. She literally shows no weakness so I think people cant connect to her as abused. We have had her 6 months and she is sooo much better than in the beginning. We have had 5 applicants over this 6 months that I approved for adoption...she met them all and they decided no after meeting her a couple of them were really early on and Lulu was just to wild and feral...so i get that. What people dont see that I have seen over my 6 months. She is hard to describe but her strong tough side is an act. When we first got her and I had to groom or give medicine to her my husband and I had to slowly close all doors in the house until we were down to one room and I could pick her up once she knew she couldnt escape. Once I had her she did nothing no shaking, growling, biting nothing...didnt even try to escape she just acts frozen...however once I was done with whatever I had to do I would set her down and she would run away vomit, poop and pee. She was petrified to death she just wont show it. Now when I pick her up still shows nothing...sometimes she grunts a little but no more vomiting so i know she is feeling better with people and I really believe she is to curious and by nature to happy to remain this distant with people. She also is a very affection animal with my dogs or any dog. she likes to cuddle, lick, play and just be close so once she lets go of her barrier with people she will be a lover because its just how she is. Whoever adopts her is getting probably the most amazing little creature I have ever seen and they are going to be one lucky family. She is so smart and so happy all the time! I love her and she is so welcome here as long as it takes to find that person that understands her. If my dogs were not seniors and she wasnt so playful I would never let her go but its unfair to keep her she wants so bad to play and we work alot its so hard for me to get her to playdates as often as she needs to!
