Glad to hear your friend is listening to you. Not glad to hear the reason behind why the boys can't also be fixed. That is the dumbest reason ever. It's not like neutering a dog is going to make the human less of a man.
IMO I think a man who has hang ups about not neutering his dog IS less of a man.
And that vet? RUN!
