Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear that is worse than thought, Teri. I know people who have had back surgeries and one who did the fusion. Her fusion was upper back/neck area though. She recovered in a couple of months. The others that have had back surgery always tell me that if they had it to do over again, they wouldn't have.
Not an easy decision to make. Either way, you are in pain and dealing with a lot.
