My baby cried for the first two nights a lot. They say to just ignore them & not give in.. Which is good advice. I just got Bella a few weeks ago & now she loves her crate. I set up her stuffed animals on her bed for her but she'll go & rearrange them to her liking. They need stuffies to feel like they're not alone.. She also has everything she needs for the night. Pee pad, food, & toys. The articles I've read also suggest setting the crate up on the other end of your house which is a must. The first couple nights she'll cry pretty loud but each night after that will get less and less. I also keep a nightlight on for her & we figured out that a sound machine calms her greatly.
After a couple nights, she will be ok. Good luck & I hope I've helped some
