My female Yorkie , Punki, died three years ago . I had her for almost 15 years . She was with me through the last stages of my wife's death from Alzheimer's. More than any other dog in my life , Punki bonded with me from the day I got her as a puppy. I am ready now to get another Yorkie. I am considering a rescue Yorkie . I live in Asheville,NC most of the year and in Florida for the winter. Any suggestions as to where I should look?
