Everyone can get to a walmart. When travelling, I always say, "We are not lost - there is a Walmart"
They have Android phones thru Straight Talk. I have my phone service thru straight talk, but it's not a smart phone. The key is to get the type of phone that bounces off of the most reliable cell service -which almost always is Verizon Wireless. My boss has the Straight Talk Android (LG Optimus) and it is a smart phone, can skype, and bounces off of Verizon Wireless towers. Have him check into that.
