Zoey is almost 3 and baby daddy is almost a year. He's a Golden Parti and a bit bigger than she is. This was her 1st heat that we knew for sure that she was in heat and mostly due to Zeus acting so weird. While we tried to keep them separated it's much harder than 1 would think to keep 2 determined dogs apart especially when the crying you THINK is because they are sad to be apart really is only because they want to be TOGETHER. UGH.... yes I take the blame, I just felt bad that my babies were lonely for each other. So now we have puppies coming...
Vet did an ultrasound and said he believes there are 3 normal size puppies which was a relief rather than 1 big puppy. He said her health is good and she shouldn't have any problems giving birth but I wouldn't know if she was having problems or what to do if she does. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. |
Hi and welcome to YT! This question will be best posted in our Breeders section. We have some very experienced and knowledgeable breeders here who can help you a LOT! They love dogs - especially Yorkies - and will go the extra mile to help your Zoey.
I'm glad you found us and are doing your research and getting ready. Happy to hear the ultrasound looks good
So, please post your questions where the Breeders can see more readily and keep us updated. Praying all goes well. I'm sorry this happened to you - lesson learned though, right? When all is said and done, go get these babies spayed and neutered
Can't wait to see the pups pics - please post when born!
