If you or hubby does DIY, you can add 6" to a foot of ply wood around the edge (drill some holes in the wood and tie to the top bars). Wood long enough to sit on the top along the edge. It'll strengthen the cage, and stops dog climbing over the top.

We also in the past, bought plexi glass to fit three sides of a pen, once again with holes drilled in. Tied to bars on the inside. Stops the climbing and makes pen more sturdy.
