Well my YT Friends,

Troy does not have a liver shunt. Detailed Bile acid tests and an Ultrasound show that was not the cause of his "episodes" of head pressing, depression, restlessness and drooling. The next step would be to diagnose a form of Meningitis which is by way of a spinal tap and MRI, $3000. And such tests would not mean a goal towards life saving measures. From my understanding, there was nothing I could do to prevent him from having this, it's not something the breeder could have even prevented so we just got dealt a funky bunch of cards.

From here on out Troy will be on meds to try to reduce symptoms but he can have seizures or go into a comatose state at any time. Today is a good day for him but our days are limited, so I'm going to make the best of them and when the time comes, which may be sooner than I'd like, we are going to send him to the Rainbow Bridge.
