I have a nice basket for my bike that sits on the handle bars. I haven't rode my bike for a long time, but my, Tameka loved to ride there! She was only 4 lbs so I don't know if weight would be a factor for you. They do have a very nice basket that has a zip cover to protect form the elements. It looks awesome and if I decide to "dust" off my bike this summer, I think I will invest in it!
