no, that does not mean they tie, an experience breeder would have help the pair tie, if the female is a maiden bitch or an inexperience one, she can HURT your male. so please assist them , I hold my girl and allow the male to do his thing and then sit there and re assure the girl that is ok, a tie can last from 2 to 20 minutes.
