Wow, i totally know that feeling and it makes me SO MAD!!! I walk my Yorkies at a nice park across the road from where I live and I always walk on the on leash side with my dogs on leash and i get so mad when peoples huge un-trained dogs come running up to my dogs. I always end up yelling at the stupid owners to go on the off leash side of the park or put their damn dog on a leash if they can't control it. And then i ALWAYS get the rude comment of "well my dog won't hurt your little thing" OR "My dog wants nothing to do with your Fufu dogs" oh it makes me so mad. People are so rude and dumb. I would love for once to just have a nice uninterupted walk with my Yorkies for once.
