I have one boy that didn't reach 2 pounds until he was over 4 months old. He should have been in the 3-4 pound range going by the charts. He's right around 7 pounds.

Some can have a late growth spurt and some may chart heavier as a pup but quit growing and turn out small.

I've found, with my dogs at least, that the girls keep filling out up to about 2+ years old. The boys are usually done by about 1 1/2 years.
