Just heard from doc -- everything went PERFECTLY, and he's already awake. I'm going to check in with them later, but since the surgery was completed by 11 my time, he'll have 12 hours of supervision before office closes. I'm going to let him stay there overnight rather than bring him to the 24/7 facility for the night.

He'll sleep better and not have to be jostled around in a crate for transport. If they tell me he's being fussy, I can still change my mind before 11.
