I watched Guinness for the weekend.. so I brought Guinness to my work to return to my colleague, the owner. So I took two buses and one train to get to work. Some of you know that I meet variety of people on public transportation. Today was this woman... Well.. she is much much better than some of psycho men I have ended up dealing with.. SHe was very nice. Anyway.. on Friday when I brought the dog on the bus, the bus driver didn't like me to bring a dog.. (i did anyway but..) so today I decided to bring my gym bag to put him.. and let his face out.. Then people on the bus asked if I carry him around all the time like that. So I told them that I was just watching him for the weekend and returning him today. Then this lady decided to sit next to me. There wasn't much space, but she just squeezed herself in.. Guinness was a bit scared... She asked me so many questions.. How often i see him, where does he pee, does the owner have any other dogs.. blah blah blah.. some fun talk. Then she asked how much I am charging her for dog-sitting.. so I told her "I don't charge my friend for that." She just opened her mouth... and froze.. She was like "what!? you watch him one - two weekends a month and don't get paid for that." So I said simply "no". Then after getting off the bus, she followed me to my next train... Then we said "bye bye" to her on my stop... Then it was funny.. the next bus I took... there is an another guy asked me the same thing if I charged my friend for dog-sitting...
Then it made me think.... "why would I charge her?" I have so much fun with Guinness. Sometimes I feel like I should be paying her.. I know I am crazy... I get my own pee pads, food, and treats for him... and of course... poop bags too!!! I even paid to fly with him to CA for thanksgiving!!!.. maybe I will start charging her after I get my future pup!!
