Bella's only six weeks old and I'm having an issue w/some dried poop stuck in some fur near her bum. I've tried to get it out but I'm having no luck.. I want to cut it out of her fur but her fur isn't that long..and I'm afraid I'll cut her by accident. It's frustrating her when she has to go and also after she goes.. She can feel it there and I think it's confusing her where she thinks she has to go more, lol but she doesn't. She will just sit it the "pooing" pose for such a long time...with nothing coming out lol. And I think it's cause she can feel it. Then she will drag her bum across the carpet.. Also when she does poo, that new poo is getting on that clump of fur and its just a mess.
My vet said to not give her a bath because she's to young, it will lower her body temp. I've tried to use wipes but that's not working.
I know this might seem like a funny post...but I wanna help her. Thanks everyone & Happy Easter!
