C-diff will cause the diarrhea, which results in the dehydration, which will cause the kidneys to show acute renal failure....praying they can get his kidneys rehydrated and his lab values back within normal limits.....and if it is c-diff, they will start him on meds for that. Still having strokes.....they are trying to get him anticoagulated, I am sure. They will have to be careful if this second stroke is not from a clot but from a bleed....bless his heart....I am praying for his rapid recovery and guidance for the doctors in this balancing act as they get him stabilized and on the road to recovery.
