Well we're back, unpacked his meds and him, or my DS got Jazz out of the car.... he's 19 lbs and I just didn't have another lift in me, lol! He's such a good, kind, and gentle kitty... just large.
A new vet saw him, she looked fresh out of high school... I feel so old, lol. Razz really liked her though. I did trim his toes before we left the house, for safety's sake. He's not prone to swiping people, but if he ever did, he would shred an arm to pieces! Like the Pitt Bull of Kitties, Lol! She thoroughly checked him over but we couldn't get him to stop purring long enough for her to listen to his heart. She took him in the back to get a urine sample to do a Urinalysis on him. So tomorrow or Monday we'll know what's going on. Thank Goodness he peed on the dogs' peepad this morning or I probably wouldn't have noticed a problem and would have had to go to an ER on Easter!
He got an injection of antibiotic that lasts for 10 days, and another bottle of capsules to make it easier for him to pee. My DS left him out of his kennel, and he promptly walked over to the food bowl and settled down to eat.
Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers! And Tracey, I'm so sorry about your Kitty. That's just horrible!
