Huey's hair seems to have a growth spurt starting around 5 months and by 11 months, he was fairly long. The tan parts have always seemed to grow a bit slower and sparser than the black/silver parts. Here he is at 7 weeks, 18 weeks, 5 months and 11 months. Your baby looks right on track comparing to Huey, best I can tell. Huey has a silky coat, and like Patti said, it is worth it once it gets all grown out. Also, his tan parts tangle more easily than the black/silver, I think because that hair is finer and feels more cottony.
