Before buying any harness you should decide if you want to put it directly on the dog or over an outfit. If you want to put it over something like a heavy coat or sweater you will probably need a larger size. I prefer to put Lola's clothes over the harness so I bought it in black to blend in with her hair this way it does not stick out under her clothing. I also sew a horizontal button hole in outfits that don't come with a d ring opening. |
I find them adjustable enough to wear under or over t shirts or other lightweight outfits if I choose. I prefer underneath but sometimes it can't be helped. They are adjustable by almost an inch, as Sherry said.
