My Alfie is about the same age, we will leave him with my daughter when we go on holiday if we get round to booking one, I keep trying to convince hubby to go to Amsterdam as we can get there directly by ferry (then we could take Alfie too) I think as long as your wee Alfie is used to your parents and their home he will be fine, (spoiled and a little chubbier when you get home) but fine.
