This got me into a little trouble with the vet nutritionist for one dog so he is back on white rice. The others eat mostly squash or sweet potatoes. Anyway, my point is that even if a dog doesn't tolerate corn or wheat they might do well with rice. I have found that dogs are more likely to have food reactions to proteins. Recently my female ate a carrot that I had cooked to make a lamb broth. Twenty minutes after ingesting the lamb broth soaked carrot, she was covered in 50% hives and scratching herself raw. This is a classic "food allergy" versus some upset GI symptoms over a food not well tolerated. So don't swear off all grains. Your dog is just as likely to be intolerant to potato, legumes, or proteins as she is grains. Good luck.
I might go ahead and try it not sure. She has had rice and chicken when she has been sick or had tummy issues so rice is probably ok with her.
