Merlin had cotton hair as a pup, now in the winter I leave a little length to it and as it get close to getting to his summer cut its all curly he looks so cute shoes never lost the cotton look. My mams baby Poppy was cotton as a pup but now at 2 year old its changed from little fluff ball completely to polka straight (show style yorkie) so don't know how it works. Merlins son Mickey has the same cotton fluff ball style so time will tell if it changes as his mammy Molly has really fine straight hair.
