Is it because they are swollen like there is one there? Or because you feel something inside? Does he lick it?
Joeys was swollen and looked like he still had a pair for like 4 days then it went down and it looked like he still had 1 for a few days after that. Now you can tell they are both gone, but its squishy and the vet said it will take a bit before it looks like nothing is there.
However, if he licked and irritated the area, then there may be fluid (if you feel something), and that will go away but it will be a while.
How long ago was he neutered?
