Do put a coat on him or just the harness? Because Joel always ran from the harness and I just figured out it was because he didn't want to wear booties or his coat. So we've compromised, he comes to get the harness on and I won't put anything on him......unless it's a long walk
and that's been working for us.
Also what I did for him to like the harness more is put some really good treats in the mailbox that he gets when we go out
