Self governing, as much as that is possible, is a great thing IMO. I LOVE seeing the creative use of fabric patterns and colors. I'm not nearly as creative. I do admit that my immediate thoughts were "I'm gonna have so-n-so make me a dress too!" That's excellent indirect marketing. Not that it's intentional, it just is. If the posts didn't specifically say, "I just made this for.." or "This was a custom order...", as a newbie, I never would have known the poster was a doggy seamstress. Again, I'm not saying that was intentional. I love to share and would have probably stated it the same way, never thinking of the effect it had. Thats just my opinion. I am so greatful that I can voice my opinion politely and respectfully and not get blasted just the same. I love seeing the fashions whether they are for sale or not. I must admit, I prefer seeing them on actual dogs rather than props. The dogs are cuter, but I can get a better sense of how it actually fits, lays, etc. Again, I'm not very creative, or visual either. I hope no one leaves this forum. IMO, everyone loses when that happens. The individuality of people is what makes any group great. OTOH, that same individuality is what makes things such a challenge, at times. I am very glad to have joined this forum and hope to see tons more yorkie clothes. | We are glad to have you join us, the fashion forum is one of my favorite "hot spots" to hang out too |
