That's HORRIBLE! Poor lady! You would think that you're completely SAFE at a dog show!

A Yorkshire terrier bounding off stage at a Cape Cod dog show was mauled and killed by a 100-pound canine that went into a murderous rage when he spotted the blissful terrier.
The attack occurred in front of the Yorkie's 74-year-old owner, Evelyn Galloway, who had just watched her dog Libby perform in ``Pooches on Parade'' at the Dennis Senior Center.
Galloway said the dog, a Bouvier des Flandres named Rafferty, pounced upon the 4-pound terrier and ``picked her up like a rag doll'' while horrified bystanders looked on.
Three people were able to wrestle Libby out of the larger dog's jaws, but not before it suffered several deep puncture wounds. The terrier died during surgery at a Hyannis animal hospital.
The Bouvier des Flandres was acting as a ``service dog'' during the event for its owner, Autumn Daniels of Dennisport, who uses a wheelchair.
Animal Control Officer Cheryl Malone, who was at the dog show and rushed to help the terrier, said she will recommend that the Bouvier des Flandres be required to wear a muzzle in public.
Meanwhile, the Yorkie's owner, who summers on the Cape and has a residence in California, has begun consulting with an attorney.
