But I have only used my Matfer Mandoline 2000 Pro once, which makes it dollar per use one of the most expensive tools in my kitchen. I also have a rarely used kitchen aid mixer ( around $300) and a manual restaurant style juicer ($150)

Tupperware has always been my downfall and I feel guilty when I remember how much my mom loved all those little thinglets. I can never find the right tops for mine and finally give up and put my leftovers etc. in glass bowls or old jelly jars.
