Tibbe twitches, runs in his sleep, barks, growls, shakes and moves quite a bit when he's dreaming. Once in a great while, he will jerk awake and his ears go back and he'll be shaking and I think he's likely had a bad dream. He'll turn and look at me and looks around the bedroom or den and looks back at me as if to say "Where did he go?" Just as if a big, mean bad guy or something was chasing him. Other times he wakes and is happy as can be and stretches and starts to play and bark and, I guess, tries to resume what he was doing in his dream. But he's never moved his paw and hiccuped in just that pattern as far as I know.
