Thank you everyone for such good advise...YorkieMom1 I actual do a lot of what you are saying with the exception of the crate. I only have 2 girls and my husband is gone a lot due to being a truck driver, so what we do, we do together. We walk, exercise, play, nap and kiss together. They are both on regimented schedules and we keep to that schedule consistently most days. May have to give up some outside exercise if the weather is rainy or to cold but I have a big house so we have lots of room to play and run inside. I feed my girls Natural Balance because I HATE the grains they use as fillers in some of the other foods. Yes they get bites when me and daddy eats but only if we eat something I'm comfortable giving them.
(ie hamburger, chicken, fish, etc)
We already have a ramp for the bedroom and my husband is making me one for the living room today. We start our new training (or I should say re-training) today! I like the idea Nancy1999 has about putting them back on the item they jumped off and training them to go down the ramp or stairs. Then of course having those yummy treats ready for 1 form of praise. Followed by lots of kisses.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to respond to my post. I appreciate it so much and will definitely train my new babies to use the ramp instead of allowing them to even start with the jumping, PERIOD! I hope you all have a wonderful and Blessed Sunday!
