Op, this is another thing you must consider. Deb (Amazing Yorkies) has good points here too. Know the difference between limited registration and full registration with breeding rights. Full registration if usually not handed over by a breeder by simply spending more money. This usually happens when the breeder sees what your trying to do (better the breed vs making puppies for "fun") and they will usually take you on and mentor you before full registration is handed over. Or, a breeder knows your mentor and trusts in you AND your mentor before handing over one of their dogs. Pretty much us pet owners will probably never have full registration.
