As someone who's worked in quite a few retail places, most places don't mind if the dog is off the ground in bag/carrier. While your pup may be trained to go outside, all it takes is one dog going on the floor during your shift and you find yourself watching every dog that isn't being held.
If he's quiet and in a carrier, I doubt anyone will outside of restaurant or store with grocery would tell you to leave. |
