I have taken Huey in quite a few places, both dog friendly and not, sometimes in a carrier, sometimes me holding. I would never let him to the floor anywhere besides petsmart or Lowes. He has been is Walgreens several times, Steinmart once and even IHOP once and the grocery store ( in a carrier, in the cart). He is very quiet and well behaved in stores, amazingly enough, since he barks his fool head off the rest of the time
