Arias: "Excuse me, Arizona, but killing a citizen of your state just upset me so badly that I am not a psychological mess and must deal with this messy old PTSD and because of that - I just can't get on the stand and tell the truth, much as I would just love to do it! You have to understand how traumatized and upsetting the killing was. Just drained me and my memory. I'm a mess since then. Oh, and while I am at it, here is the bill for my defense, Arizona taxpayers. Haven't been able to hold down a job since the killing from my self-inflicted PTSD."
That woman's got some nerve!!! |
Btw, her trial will cost us AZ taxpayers in excess of ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Now, if this was a forum that allowed major cusswords, I'd reserve my spot for them here _____________________.

Since Travis has been diagnosed as being brutally murdered and is very dead I don't care what or if Jodi has stress due to her murdering someone - that is all lost on me! I say put her under the jail and throw away the key!! And I don't want tax payer dollars supporting her either! She is not rehabilitate'able ......
I'm so afraid she will follow in Casey's footsteps, move to Florida and get an innocent little yorkie!! :-( |
Luckily, there is no way this woman will get off. She has admitted to murder, so now it's just a matter of degree of murder. Sure, a trial could result in a hung jury - but I don't see that happening here since the jury knows she is 100% guilty, by admission. The jury really needs to just argue degree and/or self defense. If by some crazy odds, the jury was hung - the state would recharge anyway.
What a crazy, crazy trial though, eh? Nuts. Pretty rare though that we actually get to see an admitted murderer on the stand, in a
death penalty case!
