I would have his eye checked by a vet asap. I have had two dogs who had watery eyes and it turned out in both cases they had eye Ulcers ! the first time I put it off (I thought it was algeries or maybe soap from the groomer etc) so by the time I did take him to the vet it was close to being serious! if I had not had his eyes checked he could have either lost vision or the eye, as it is he has a spot that clouds his vision and will always be there. The puppy went in fast because of my past experence.. I am gald I did!
I am very sure you pup's eye is not that bad but better to solve the problem now before it gets worst.
