Toby my 9 mo old yorkie -poo has never been a food lover... But I finally had enough last month and made more of a fuss about it to our vet. So full geriatric blood panel showed slightly elevated liver count70? and he hadn't gained any weight. So they put him on royal canin gastro for a month. Recheck this week showed no weight gain. So they repeated the panel and the levels were slightly higher again 80? So he went in for the BAT and an ultrasound... Waiting on results.... I'm fairly convinced ( from what ive read here )that it will show he has a shunt. But hoping that they will be small? Or at least easily treatable... Oh my little Toby boy!!! |
