I grew up in Yakima
. My father used to hunt Mountain lions for bounty when I was a kid because they would be killing ranchers livestock. They are very brave animals. The last one he hunted was a 9ft 1 in long one that almost got him before he got it. I am not sure but I don't think they are allowed to hunt them anymore. My brother in law lives in an orchard in Wenatchee and they see them there a lot. They are one animal that terrifies me, not only for my pups but for myself lol. I used to sit out on the patio at night a lot in the other house but not when I would hear that thing.
