My baby was born May 30th! We've got alot of May babies!
Here's my story. It was about 6:30pm & I started bleeding alot so I went to the hospital (I thought the placenta was coming out 1st & I was panicking!). I got there & they did an ultrasound & I stayed there for 3 hrs & then finally they told me everything was ok & I could go home because I wasn't in labor. I sign out & get in the elevator & my water breaks!
I went back & I was like so I'm not in labor huh?
This was about 9:30 & I was at a 3. I get in my room & I'm trying to wait as long as possible for the epidural & I make it till I get to a 5 & I can't stand it anymore! I get my epidural at about 1am. By 5am I am at 10 & they tell me I can push. (Oh--I had to get my epidural upped 3 times because I was still in so much pain!) I pushed for 2 hours!!! I thought I was going to die or pass out! Finally at 8:25 she was born! She had a headful of jet black hair & weighed in at 8lbs even!
I had bruises on my stomach & abs from pushing so long! But it was so worth it in the end!!
Can't wait to do it again! haha!!
