A little about myself..My name is Gina and as said I live in Dothan, AL with my husband and yorkies. I have had yorkies for almost 30 years. My fist yorkie Miko lived to be over 19. I lost him in 2006. It totally broke my heart.
I am so glad I found this website..it's great to have a place to talk about my favorite subject.
I'm still working my way around the website trying to get used to it so please have patience with me.

I really hope you can make it to the Meet-up next month. I will be sending out my addy and directions when it gets closer to time and we have a good list of who is coming.
I would highly recommend that you post a question about breeding in the breeder's talk section of the forum. I'm not sure of any AKC breeders in Alabama, but mostly there ARE some experienced breeders with a wealth of knowledge that can talk to you. There is a lot that goes into breeding (such as genetic testing and health concerns). I know you have had Yorkies for 30 years so I am sure you know a lot more than I do. These breeders though can really help answer questions and give all info that you need.
